Remembering Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

We remember and honor the work and the memory of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. today. Dr. King's speech from the March on Washington in 1963 is worth a listen. Civil unrest, division, and outrage at true inequality being codified into law was the background for this event. Even in the midst of all that, Dr. King saw the opportunity to "transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood."
