It's a Greek letter. We spell it "pi". It sounds like "pie". We write it like "π". It is the symbol for the mathematical constant representing the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. It might seem like a boring math concept we hoped we had left behind in school, but it's way more than that. It permeates and underpins various aspects of modern civilization. From the buildings we live in to the technologies we rely on, pi plays an often invisible but crucial role in our everyday lives.

The only memories I have of my mother and father are watching them on old VHS videos with my Gramma. They were taken from me before I was old enough to understand anything. I like to imagine they watch over me even if there isn't much they can do from where they are. I'm sure they loved me. But when mother's day comes around, there is one woman who I have known all my life who has been there for me in that role. That woman is my Gramma.

June is Pride Month. We proudly join everyone this month in celebration of the contributions the many members of the LGBTQ+ community have made to our communities around the world. The world was a very different place in 1969, and those at the Stonewall Riots blazed a trail that can never be forgotten

March 8th is a day to globally celebrate all things women. International Women's Day celebrates all the achievements of women across the world and all the contributions we have made to social, economic, cultural and political advancements. This year's theme for International Women's Day is "Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world".
